We're harnessing the "stoke" – that incredible feeling surfing gives us – to uplift our community. Surfing's positive energy fuels actions that benefit both people and the environment. It's a powerful tool for addressing community needs, beyond the sheer joy of riding a wave.

It felt fitting to use surfing as a way to contribute to our community and raise funds for Costa Rica Coral Restoration – our country’s first and only dedicated coral restoration lab.

Imagine a Jog-A-Thon, but on surfboards!

Instead of jogging or walking, we will be surfing the waves of Mother Ocean on June 14th at Playa Chaman in Marino Ballena National Park.

Our Surf-A-Thon invites surfers to ride as many waves as possible to raise funds for Costa Rica Coral Restoration. Your donations will directly support this important cause.

And you don't have to be here to participate! Whether you're surfing your local break, watching the waves, or simply reflecting on the joy surfing brings, you're part of the Surf-A-Thon and can make a positive difference by donating today!

The Bodhi Surf + Yoga crew will surf the waves at Playa Chaman, inside the Marino Ballena National Park, Uvita-Bahia Ballena, Osa, Costa Rica — the official "home break" of the 2025 event.

Their mission is to pioneer new solutions for reef conservation, and this event will help them take their next big step: expanding into coral sexual reproduction — a game-changing approach to restoring reefs in the Eastern Tropical Pacific.
